Comic Transcript

Panel 1:

The top of the panel is a message from Ada on Plenty of Powers. Ada is alone next to her bed. Her costume is laid out on the bed and she's looking at it critically. Something isn't quite right with it, but she's not sure what it is. She tilts her head and frowns a little at it.

USER DEAD_RINGER: HEY, YOUR PROFILE MAKES YOU SEEM LIKE A PRETTY COOL SUPERHERO. STILL LOOKING FOR AN ARCHENEMY?

SFX: PHONE NOTIFICATION

Panel 2:

Ada is looking at her phone, fingers poised to type out a response to the message. Her frown from panel 1 is gone. The bottom of the panel has the Plenty of Powers logo with chat text next to it.

USER GLDNGALE: SURE, I THINK WE COULD LEARN TO BE MORTAL ENEMIES. I'M NEW IN TOWN, WHERE SHOULD WE MEET?

Panel 3:

Ada comes dancing in front of the couch, where Brian is currently sitting watching TV. She's humming a song (musical notes on screen), oblivious to anything else.

Panel 4:

Ada stops and texts something in response to her messages

BRIAN: YOU'RE IN A GOOD MOOD. GOT PLANS FOR LATER?

Panel 5:

Ada stops dancing for a minute, on the left side of the screen.

ADA: YUP, MEETING A BONAFIDE SUPERHERO TONIGHT!

BRIAN: WHAT'S THEIR NAME?

ADA: NO CLUE! BUT SHE SAVED A WHOLE ORPHANAGE ONCE! SHE'S TOTALLY LEGIT!

Panel 6:

Brian grins at Ada as she dances and sings her way back out of the room. He's happy that she's happy.
